Services
Emergency Services
Should the rack system sustain damage, regardless of the time, day or night, one call will have one of our trained inspectors attend the site as soon as possible to determine the extent of the damage and recommend immediate / temporary actions to ensure the safety of the workplace. We can recommend an appropriate installation contractor capable of performing these temporary measures.
When necessary, one of our Professional Engineers will be contacted and brought in to assist in performing structural analysis.
Following the temporary measures taken, labour can be arranged to remove the damaged components, replacements ordered and installed once manufactured.
SafeRack Audit
The SafeRack Audit is NOT a PSR, rather a review of the storage system, by a “Competent Person” as defined by the Ontario Ministry of Labour (MOL), who is experienced and knowledgeable with the design, current standards and regulations, installation and use of storage systems.
The audit specifically looks for any visible signs of damage and identifies areas that may require replacement, repair, adjustments to the systems, and / or how people interface with the systems. The audit is based on visible portions of the system and does not generally include relocating any products, which potentially could be concealing additional damage. This is therefore a reflection of what was observed at the time of inspection. The Safety Audit is NOT a Pre-Start Health and Safety Review (PSR) in accordance with Section 7 of Ontario Regulation 851, but an evaluation of the storage systems general condition. If and when necessary due to major component damage, one of our, or an associated Professional Engineer will be brought in to perform detailed review and structural analysis.
